We create lobbying events for you on Capitol Hill, including organizing your roster of Congressional speakers and in-person Member meetings. We train you on how to lobby Congress effectively and furnish you with the cutting edge materials that will get the job done.

Congressional Witness Preparation

We prepare you to be a successful Congressional witness, preparing both your oral and written testimony. We engage Congressional Committee staff in preparation for your hearing, as well as coach you directly on how to perform successfully in front of Congress.

Joel Rubin’s Experience in Government Affairs

Washington Strategy Group President Joel Rubin is a well-recognized Congressional expert. He has a unique blend of legislative expertise, spanning the Senate, House, and non-profit advocacy sector. He has testified to Congress and often appears in the media for his legislative and political expertise.

Joel has a wide network of well-established relationships amongst Members of Congress, as well as with the top staff in both Chambers of Congress and on both sides of the aisle. In particular, he is close to the Members and Staff of Congressional leadership, as well as with the Foreign Relations/Affairs, Armed Services, Intelligence, and Appropriations Committees.

Joel also has a strong personal understanding of the political process. He has run both for Congress (MD-8) and at the local level, now serving as an elected Town Councilman in Chevy Chase, Maryland.
